Learn About Evergreen Village on Sun., Sept. 13 at Teel Realty's Community Open House
Teel Realty is running a development-wide open house for all of its listings at Evergreen Village, a 55-and-up community in Upper Mount Bethel Township, Northampton County, Pa.
Realtors will staff all Teel listings at Evergreen Village from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. They will also provide light refreshments and information.
Evergreen Village is located 2 miles from the Portland/Columbia Toll Bridge that connects New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and is 15 miles north of Easton, Pa. The older-adult community is located off of Evergreen Road, which is off of Rt. 611.

Take Advantage of the First-Time Home Buyer Tax Credit
The First-Time Home Buyer Tax Credit is the result of the American Recovery and Reinvestment act of 2009, otherwise known as the economic stimulus package.
It contains good news for those looking to buy a home and don't presently own a home, including:
-- The tax credit is for first-time home buyers only. For the tax credit program, the IRS defines a first-time home buyer as someone who has not owned a principal residence during the three-year period prior to the purchase.
-- The tax credit does not have to be repaid.
